چکیده
With the rapid development of information technology, virtual reality and gesture interaction have been gradually applied in research map navigation systems. Traditional visualization methods are no longer suitable for this novel interactive map. This offers a dynamic plan (VR) focusing on natural to give examples creating similar The principal work is composed two experiments. first experiment focuses designing gestures (moving, rotating, zooming). Design of a 3D Navigation Technique Supporting VR Interaction
Multimodality is a powerful paradigm to increase the realness and the easiness of the interaction in Virtual Environments (VEs). In particular, the search for new metaphors and techniques for 3D interaction adapted to the navigation task is an important stage for the realization of future 3D interaction systems that support multimodality, in order to increase efficiency and usability. In this p...
متن کاملSpatialVis: Visualization of Spatial Gesture Interaction Logs
This paper presents SpatialVis, a system for logging spatial gesture interactions and a visualization interface to analyze those logs. SpatialVis overlays a gesture log visualization atop screen recordings of interaction sessions to allow for replay of experimental trials. We discuss the challenges of logging spatial interactions and recommendations for best practices.
متن کاملNeural systems supporting navigation
Much is known about how neural systems determine current spatial position and orientation in the environment. By contrast little is understood about how the brain represents future goal locations or computes the distance and direction to such goals. Recent electrophysiology, computational modelling and neuroimaging research have shed new light on how the spatial relationship to a goal may be de...
متن کاملSupporting Context-Aware Interaction in Dynamic Multi-agent Systems
The increasing ubiquity of mobile computing devices has made mobile ad hoc networks an everyday occurrence. Applications in these networks are commonly structured as a logical network of mobile agents that coordinate with each other to achieve their goals. In these highly dynamic multi-agent systems, the multitude of devices provides a varied and rapidly changing context in which agents must le...
متن کاملSupporting Dynamic Labeling in Web Map Applications
Web mapping based on client-side application programming interfaces (APIs) is very popular, especially for mashups. However, we can observe that most of these applications use no labeling. Thus, fast comprehensibility of such maps is hindered. In this paper, we investigate the reasons for this situation. Based on this analysis, a specification is presented that fosters the use of dynamic point ...
